Come on home to your chair.

Put a leg up and ” let’s watch the fire.”

isn’t she beautiful?

Come on lay down,

Listen to your choir sing

not about you, but of those whom you love.

That same old can of beans

from 1943

can feed your whole family,

if your family needs and we’re lucky it seems

to be able to have seen

these candlelight dreams

Like a mountainside moonbeam casts no shadow, this moment is all alone yet frozen, beheld.
